Rounders Rumble at Corfe Hills
Springdale Rounders Team Scores Well-Deserved Second Place!
Ten excited youngsters from Corfe Hills School recently participated in a Rounders Rumble, showcasing their teamwork and skills on the field. While they may not have clinched first-place, their impressive performance secured a well-deserved second-place finish.
We would be remiss without acknowledging some of the game's standout players. Isaac Norton, Jasmine Perry, and Bethan Baxter consistently impressed throughout the competition, demonstrating exceptional Rounders talent. It's important to note the significant improvements made by John Crawford and Penny Courage. Their dedication and hard work during practice undoubtedly contributed to the team's overall success.
Beyond their athletic prowess, the Springdale Slammers (our team name) also garnered praise for their exemplary behaviour and positive attitude. Mr. Cameron expressed immense pride in his students' sportsmanship and conduct throughout the competition.
This experience at the rounders competition is sure to leave a lasting impression on these young athletes. The combination of impressive individual performances, along with a team-oriented spirit and a positive attitude, is a recipe for success both on and off the field.
